Free to list. Free to claim.

All 12,788 businesses in the Bradford district are listed free, because they come from public registers rather than from anyone paying us. Claiming your listing is free too. Paid plans exist for businesses that want more prominence, and they start at £12 a month.

What money cannot buy here

A directory is only worth reading if the things it tells you are not for sale. These are not.

The verified badge

A person checks every claim. Paying does not make you verified, and never will.

Your hygiene rating

It comes from the Food Standards Agency. We publish what they publish, including a low score.

Removing a listing you do not like

Businesses appear because they are on a public register, not because they paid.

Hidden placement

If a listing is above another because that business pays, it says so on the page.

Questions

Why is any of it free?
The listings came from public registers — the Food Standards Agency, Companies House and OpenStreetMap — not from businesses paying to be included. Charging to appear in something we took from a public register would be a strange thing to do.
Is the free listing a trial?
No. It is the permanent free tier. Claim it, keep your details right, and never pay us anything if you do not want to.
Do I have to pay for the verified badge?
No, and you could not if you wanted to. A person checks every claim; verification is not for sale at any price.
What if I stop paying?
Your listing stays. It reverts to the free version, which is a complete listing in its own right. Nothing is deleted and nothing is hidden.
Can I pay yearly?
Yes, when billing opens — two months free either way, so £120 or £390 a year.
Is there a contract?
No contract and no minimum term. Stop whenever you like.
